James graduated from the University of Dundee in 2009 and has dedicated his career to providing advanced, patient-centred dental care.
He has had a keen interest in oral surgery and dental implants since qualifying, and in 2018 completed his Diploma in Implant Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons of England. James also holds Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow, and is an Associate Fellow of the College of General Dentistry.
Passionate about developing his skills to the highest level, James has travelled nationally and internationally to undertake postgraduate dental training with some of the most respected educators in the profession. He has also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education from the University of Aberdeen, reflecting his commitment to mentoring and supporting fellow dentists.
By combining advanced training with the latest digital technology, James is able to provide precise, predictable treatment outcomes, including in more complex cases. He also offers sedation for patients who would benefit from a more relaxed and comfortable treatment experience, and accepts referrals for implant treatment, oral surgery, and sedation care.
Since taking over Dental Fx in 2023, James has been focused on continuing to develop the practice, welcoming advanced clinicians, and broadening the range of high-quality care available to the community.
